Conga

Conga is not a standardized Arabic rhythm. In its primary historical and musical sense, the term refers to a Cuban drum and to its Afro-Cuban and Latin performance context in music and dance. When it appears in Arab educational or production settings, that usually reflects stylistic borrowing or modern fusion rather than original membership in the Arabic rhythm system. Its presence here should therefore be read as a classification point under review rather than as confirmation of an independent Arabic rhythm entry.

Conga is used as a rhythmic template for feeling the 4/4 meter. Start from the first Dum, then connect the Taks and rests to the movement of the melody or song.
