Sumbati

Sumbati does not appear here as a standardized independent Arabic rhythm, but as the name of a darbuka type or size in some modern instrument classifications. Technical materials on the darbuka use the term for a larger, deeper-voiced drum rather than for a canonical rhythm in the core Arabic reference literature. Its presence in the rhythm section should therefore be understood as a terminology point under review rather than as confirmation of a final independent rhythm name.

Sumbati is used as a rhythmic template for feeling the 4/4 meter. Start from the first Dum, then connect the Taks and rests to the movement of the melody or song.
